Avenged Sevenfold Maps Out More Tour Dates

Band Photo: Avenged Sevenfold (?)
The first leg of the band's U.S. tour ends Friday (12/2) in Las Vegas, but the Warped Tour veterans will jump right back into the swing of things after taking a break for the holidays, kicking off the tour's second leg in January, and eventually hitting around 20 mid-size venues.
Avenged Sevenfold--which got support from Saosin and Death by Stereo for its fall dates--will be joined by CKY on the next leg of its tour.
Before the start of the January/February swing, the band will make an appearance at the Dec. 10 KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas show in Universal City, CA, sharing a bill with System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails, Korn and other acts.
Avenged Sevenfold--vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, guitarist Zachy Vengeance, bassist Johnny Christ and drummer The Rev--released "City of Evil" in June. Producer Mudrock, who also worked on the band's previous album, 2003's "Waking the Fallen," was again behind the dials for the band.
The video for the "City of Evil" single "Bat Country" is in rotation on the music cable channel Fuse, and the song "Beast and the Harlot" appears on the soundtrack of EA's video game "Burnout Revenge."

listen here yall. apparantly you guys dont know a good band when you here one.. and its not his fault that shadow messed his voice up. he was trying to sing the way he wanted to, but apparently he doesnt have enough vocal strength as say, Chester or David Dramun. im not in love with this band no.. but for you guys to just come on this site and simply blow them off like that.. thats not right.. what would ahppen if i told you i thought the nads that you guys liked sucked complete and total nasty hairy a**.

yeah their guitarists are great, but they way they put their riffs together in city of evil was bad it sounded like carnival music or some sh**, it was too cheery and corny to kick any amount of ass. i loved most of waking the fallen but i couldnt even finish listening to city of evil due to the dissapointment. bat country is catchy but then they go and get it played on trl. RIP A7X. honestly what a dissapointment.

17. writes:
As I must agree, I love A7X and I have even influenced Chavs who hate the sh**e out of me that they like A7X or they think they are a good band, never say a band is sh** unless you can do better a$$holes, I would love to see you make a solo like the one in M.I.A... Anyway I agree with a7X master, best musical band out right now... xxxxA7X4Lifexxxx

what i meant by corny was that that the riffs do not kick a$$ in the least bit. when i hear a good solo (ok fine if you want to talk about city of evil... like the one in bat country) you get the urge to break sh** around you. you just feel the f***ing music. you know when a riff kicks a$$ because of the way its put together. alot of the riffs on that cd however were put togehter in a manner that it didnt make them sound anything close to metal. it sounded like the guitarists were just screwing around with their guitars not really trying to put a hard hitting song together. however they are still talented.

i like them a lot. i dont care what anybody has to say about them. you put dowm my band, im put you down! they love what they do, and you should appreciate that there are poeple out there that do care that much about singing and pleasing a crwod. if everyone was as lazy as everyone is today.. we wouldnt have bands or a government.. schools.. there would be nothing in this world.. think of that for a minute or two.. if your brain is able to handle that much information at once without imploding on itself...we are very lucky! love poeple for what they do! not for who they are!
