Tool look to now be planning two separate DVD releases come December 20th, one for the video for their track "Parabol"/"Parabola" and another for the video for their track "Schism". Cover art for the releases can be seen here and here.

Strong sense of smell you've got there evilcl0ne.
This is primer for the new album expected in the first half of 06. Lumping the dvd's together would have been better for the fans, expecially those without much in the way of a desposable income.
I considered "Salival" a very generous offer: live and unreleased studio music on one disc, videos on the other......This is bunk and I doubt I'm going to be party to it....Though I'll be getting the new abum at sunrise the day it's released.

I liked Lateralus quite a bit, but it has been nearly 5 years since the last album.....
I'm giddy about this album because, rumor has it, it will emphasize more of the heavy dynamic from AEnima that was only sparingly put to use in Lateralus.....Inspired by none other than Meshuggah, I can only imagine how tricky/heavy/trippy this disk will be.

If there is anything that Tool demands...it is patience. It was 5 years in bewteen Aenima and Lateralus...and the result was amazing. Bands that put out something new every year can't possibly have anything of value to say...and Tool is a band that operates for a purpose...not just to dispense products...they try to evoke emotion and action in their fans. By putting out 2 DVDs before the new record drops, they are simply "lubricating" the minds of the fans...getting them ready and making them remember where we are in this journey that the band has taken people on...and the next step will be just as amazing. Patience above all...Tool are not an everyday band...they are not disposable...and to remain that way they take time...and that in turn requires us, as fans, to be patient.

God you guys are whiners. Look at Amazon's prices! They are barely over 6 bucks a piece! Oh my god! how am i gonna afford that? i might have to not buy my ten pounds of weed this week. i can't believe they would cost this much. My faith in everything is destroyed. My life is ruined. All because a DVD cost 6 dollars.

Wow, lots of people go to great extents to bash Tool....what the f*** do you know anyway? Have you released anything better than them? If so, f***ing awesome, let's hear it. If not, then go f*** yourself and go back to System of a Down or f***ing Nickleback or whatever....
