After demoing new material this fall, Atreyu have begun work on their follow-up to "The Curse," (which has sold over 300,000 copies to date). The group is currently in the studio with producer Josh Abraham (Velvet Revolver, Courtney Love) recording the untitled effort, which is slated to hit stores on March 28th through Victory Records.

While I do like some of the stuff KORN has done...they have put out some real trash. Well...on second thought...maybe being a KORNFAN makes you better able to spot crappy music...since you surround yourself with it. Atreyu is not the worst band out there...by far...and their live show is entertaining. I am still baffled by the classification of them as "punk." Do you even know what punk consists of...it sure isn't synchronized head banging or outlandish guitar solos. A more accurate way to insult Atreyu would be to take some shot at their attempted mixture of emo and hardcore music...so just to help you out here KORNFAN...you should have said..."Why is crappy emocore on this site." See that way you still get to call them crappy...and be smart musically as well. You're welcome for the tip.

haha KORNFAN got made piss he shoulded be on this site, any ways Atreyu are pretty good band and they are sertainly not punk or nu-metal or emo they are metal-core if you havent figured it out already they have few mixes with the above but not one single genre thats why i like them. "f***ING HORRIBLE BAND" why if you want a truely horrible band that is korn or slipknot. Atreyu are probabley the savour from the worst genre there is "nu-metal".
