Norwegian black metallers Carpathian Forest have signed to France's Season Of Mist for two full-length albums.

Carpathian Forest released three acclaimed albums on the Avantgarde Music roster prior to signing to Season Of Mist and according to their new label will enter Sound Suite Studios with Terje Refsnes to record their new album sometime in the winter of 2002.

Carpathian Forest's as-yet-untitled fourth full-length is currently scheduled for a July 2002 release date, which means the prolific band will have released two albums in a six-month span.
