Fear Factory To Tour With Slayer?

Band Photo: Slayer (?)
Fear Factory are looking at possibly touring Europe with Slayer in March 2006, the group's drummer Raymond Herrera revealed in a brand-new interview conducted by HeavyMetalSource.com. During the interview, Raymond also spoke about the group's songwriting process for their last two albums, his gaming business and his drumming influences. Raymond also said that Fear Factory will be taking a couple of months off following the completion of their current North American headlining tour so that vocalist Burton C. Bell can be around for the birth of his first child. Check out the 14-minute interview in both audio and video formats at this location.
In other news, Fear Factory have been confirmed for next year's edition of the Atarfe Vega Rock festival, set to take place March 10-11, 2006 at Nave Medina Elvira in Atarfe, Granada, Spain. Other bands scheduled to appear at the festival include Twisted Sister, Gamma Ray, Testament, Nuclear Assault, Masterplan, Behemoth, In Extremo, Monsorrow and To/Die/For. More confirmations will be announced soon.

Im with angel of death on this one, slipknot 4 ever, while slipknot are a good band, they have not reach anywhere near the hieghts of the likes of slayer and fear factory, which is great. slayer are kick a$$ thrash and ff are kick a$$ thrash/cyber, learn a little more about metal and its roots and discover how good old skool is, later dudes \m/

In the new Guiar World there is an add for B.C. Rich with Kerry. He has got a few mroe new tatoos and that the new album is coming out soon. It should kick a$$ cause all that really bad nu-metal sh** is down the toilet i.e. Korn and Deftones. Now we some bands with some talent but still not classic thrash i.e. Shadows Fall and Lamb of God. Slayer needs to tour with Exodus and Testament. Have an Old School Hammerhead tour. It would rip. I saw Exodus and they need some big band help. Their new album is great but no one knows and Slayer would be a good help. Especially cause Bostaph is in Exodus now.

According to a band spokesperson, US thrash gods Slayer will "go into the studio maybe December, possibly January to start recording" their long-awaited follow-up to 2001's "God Hates Us All". The album will surface on American Recordings' new home, Warner Bros. Records, sometime in 2006. More news as it develops.
