The following message was posted on the official Amon Amarth website:

"Alright, just a week left until we head out on tour again! Starting with two off shows half-way; on Iceland. It was hard to put a set together with the time limit we have (30 min) but it is a deadly intense set! It's going to be cool to come back to North American soil again after two years and we look forward touring with Children of bodum and Trivium. It's going to be an awesome ride with many of the shows already sold out!
Remember to be there early since we're first up to play!
See you in the pit!"

Have you seen that folks bands with little or no radio or anyother types of media play
selling out shows throughout the US this just proves that real metal rules all.
With maybe the exeception of Trivium.

Trivium I don't care for, COB aren't the best, but are a good live act, and Amon Amarth just f***ing rule. People should go to this at least to see the mighty Amon Amarth.

Trivium should be opening the show, not Amon Amarth. I've been looking forward to seeing AA ever since I picked up Fate of the Norns...VIKING METAL....LIVE! At least I get to see two of my favorites, Amon Amarth and Children of Bodom. You gotta have some respect for Alexi Laiho and Bodom....that shredding...and you can't forget those f***in sweet keyboards.

I am not really bagging Trivium there one of the few metalcore bands that are actually listenable.
And I agree Alexi is one of the best guitar soloists that i have heard in years and Amon Amarth's
Vs. The World cd is one my personal faves as metal cds go.

first of all COB f***in rule, secondly trivium are a metalcore band, which i despise....but i see them taking a turn for the better and ripping some classic sh** on their new disc, mark these words......and finally Rue, if Fate of the Norns was your intro to AA than you have no right to talk about either of the two others b/c Bodom has been killing for about a decade now, and triviums 'Embers to Enferno' is a soon to be classic ( way better than Ascendency)....so f*** you

'they are the new metallica'

Yeah, they rule about as much as Load did. Keep regurgitating your Roadrunner hype...
