Cult Of Luna Premiere New Single & Lyric Video "Sadness Will Reign" - Gojira's Joe Duplantier Guests
Swedish post-metal heavyweights Cult Of Luna have officially premiered their latest single, “Sadness Will Reign”, featuring a guest vocal contribution from Joe Duplantier, frontman and guitarist of GRAMMY Award-winning French progressive metal outfit Gojira. The track serves as the final advance offering from Cult Of Luna’s forthcoming album “In The Shadow Of Your Shadow”, which is scheduled to arrive this Friday, November 6, via RED CRK Recordings.
Commenting on his appreciation for Duplantier’s distinctive vocal delivery, Cult Of Luna guitarist/vocalist Johannes Persson shared:
“What I like about Joe is that he has a very particular voice. I think it’s one of the reasons why Gojira stands out as the metal giants that they are. It has its own unique character and would stand out even if you put him next to a hundred or a thousand other vocalists.”
