Experimental metal project Enduring Revery has released a new EP, titled "Reflections of Time," which can be streamed in full via bandcamp.
Multi-instrumentalist Heath Gibson comments on the release:
This release is 4 (continuous) tracks that runs 30 minutes and has a mix of heavy, sludgy, pretty, melancholy, doom and folk all ebbing and flowing throughout, in hopes to carry the listener off on a sonic journey. Put your headphones on and escape!
These songs have been a work in progress for a long time and had a couple iterations before this final release. In that time, there has been lots of reflecting on who I was throughout my younger years and where I'm at presently. Reflecting on my failures and sin from the past and also the relationships that have broken down as I've grown stronger in my walk in faith. All have broken down as I've grown stronger in my walk in faith. All the songs regardless of topic bring faith (in Jesus) into the center focus, and all have scripture references included in the lyrics.
The "Reflections of Time" track listing is as follows:
1. Like a dog returns to it's own vomit
2. The Devil lurks two steps behind
3. Throats are open graves
4. Reflections of time
