Tony Iommi Premiere New Single & Music Video "Stormwatcher" From Upcoming New Album "From The Dark"

Heavy metal godfather Tony Iommi has premiered a second single from his forthcoming album “From The Dark“. The Black Sabbath guitarist has now unveiled “Stormwatcher“, accompanied by an animated music video directed by Daniel Gray.

Iommi assembled a proverbial backing band for the record, with vocalist Jørn Lande (Masterplan, Jorn, etc.), bassist Becky Baldwin (Mercyful Fate, etc.) and drummer Karl Brazil (Robbie Williams, Feeder, etc.) lending their talents to the album, which is due October 23rd.

Lande offered the following on the maritime themes that inspired the latest cut:

“It channels something from within, something real… We are the captain of our own vessel, a ship crashing through unknown and sometimes challenging waters, always navigating forward, steering steady through every storm, driven by dreams of new horizons and longing for something new.”

Meanwhile, Iommi has received his MBE at Windsor Castle, with the honor bestowed in recognition of his services to the arts and charity.
