Zakk Wylde Song Featured In WWII Documentary

It's well known that Zakk Wylde supports his US military. Now Zakk and Black Label Society have contributed to a documentary on the history of US Combat helmets. "Steel Pots, The History of America's Steel Combat Helmets" features Zakk's acoustic version of "America the Beautiful" from his "1919 Eternal" CD. "I interviewed Zakk at the Columbus Ozzfest for "Guitar Digest" and asked his permission to use the cut. He enthusiastically approved it", Said Chris Armold, writer and producer of the DVD. The song is used in the outro of the DVD as the credits run. "It's a moving, stripped down version of the song and it's a perfect fit." BLS fans who are interested can learn more about this DVD by visiting www.steelpots.com. In addition, a portion of every DVD sold will be donated to the Yellow Ribbon Support Center which aids active duty military personnel and their families. Chris plans to see Zakk when BLS rolls through Cincinnati and will ask Zakk to sign some special edition DVDs. "I'll auction those DVD's off and all the proceeds will go to the Yellow Ribbon Support Center. said Armold"
