Firewind Premiere New Single & Lyric Video "The Legends Of Achilles" From Upcoming New Album "Gods, Myths & Titans"

Greek power metal band Firewind have set February 19th as the release date for their forthcoming studio album “Gods, Myths & Titans“. BLKIIBLK will issue the new outing, with the group having now commenced the album campaign. “The Legends Of Achilles” has been unveiled as the lead single, accompanied by a lyric video available below.

Discussing the conceptual record, the band’s guitarist Gus G. shared:

“We’ve wanted to make a concept album about Greek mythology for a long time, and finally we got around to it. It’s been two years in the making, and our goal was to create the most epic album in the history of the band. Adding cinematic and orchestral elements to our classic metal sound gave a whole new layer, enhancing the style of Firewind.”

“Each track is a gate to a different myth. We went all in with the visual side as well and worked with Felipe Machado, who created unique artwork for every song. These are tales of power, glory, tragedy, and defiance. Today we give you the first single, and it’s about Achilles – one of the mightiest warrior legends to ever walk the earth. Turn up the volume and enter the realm of ‘Gods, Myths, & Titans.’”
