Crown Magnetar Premiere New Single & Music Video "Dead Crown" From Upcoming New Album "The Hollowing Of Godflesh"

Colorado deathcore outfit Crown Magnetar have unleashed their new single “Dead Crown“, arriving online alongside an accompanying music video. Dakota Johnson handled directing duties for the clip, while the song is set to appear on the group’s third studio album, “The Hollowing Of Godflesh“. Unique Leader Records have scheduled that effort for a September 25th release.

Commenting on the new single, the band’s vocalist Dan Tucker stated:

“‘Dead Crown‘ takes one of the darkest concepts on the record and turns it into one of the heaviest songs we’ve ever written. It’s centered around a crown being surgically driven into someone’s skull until it fuses with their flesh, slowly corrupting them from the inside. The riffs never let up, the drums are relentless, and the ending strips everything back into a primitive, caveman breakdown that is undoubtedly one of the heaviest moments on the record.”
