Carnifex Premiere New Single & Music Video "More Than Misery" From Upcoming New Album

Californian deathcore veterans Carnifex have announced the details of their new studio album, “More Than Misery“. The record will mark the band’s first release for Sumerian Records and their tenth studio album overall, arriving on November 06th.

Recording sessions took place with Whitechapel guitarist Zach Householder handling production duties. Householder also produced Whitechapel‘s latest outing, “Hymns In Dissonance“. Jeff Dunne (Boundaries, Dark Divine) oversaw the mixing.

A music video for the album’s title track has also arrived, once again finding the band working with director Midvessel (Kaonashi, thrown).

Frontman Scott Ian Lewis said of it:

“‘More Than Misery‘ is about what happens when suffering becomes more than something you endure, it becomes what changes you. This is Carnifex at our most honest and unapologetically brutal.”

The forthcoming album will feature one guest appearance, with Entheos vocalist Chaney Crabb appearing on “The Process Of Pain“.

Carnifex will be out next month alongside Extermination Dismemberment and Mauled as opening acts for All Shall Perish‘s “The Price Of Existence” 20th anniversary tour, followed by select headlining shows and a European/UK triple co-headlining run alongside Despised Icon and Suffocation.
