Miss May I Premiere New Single & Music Video "Sanctuary" From Upcoming New Album "No Place For Me"

Metalcore outfit Miss May I have joined forces with Solid State Records for the release of their upcoming eighth studio album, “No Place For Me“. The record is set to arrive on October 02nd, with the band now unveiling a new single titled “Sanctuary“. Garrett Drake and Josh Hart co-directed the music video accompanying the track.
Miss May I frontman Levi Benton shared insight into the lyrical inspiration behind the song:
“‘Sanctuary‘ is a song about wanting to feel safe and realizing you’re the one making that impossible. It’s a cycle I’ve struggled with my whole life and I think a lot of people know exactly what that feels like.”
Discussing the album as a whole, Benton added:
“‘No Place For Me‘ is everything I’ve felt for a long time but never had the words for. Writing it taught me who I actually am even when that hurt to look at. It’s a full journey: Where it started, what I discovered, and where I am today.”
The band’s February single “Die On The Vine” will also appear on the upcoming full-length.
