Psycroptic Premiere New Single & Music Video "Gathering A Venomous Herd" From Upcoming New Album "The Pulse Of Annihilation"

Australian technical death metal band Psycroptic have announced their ninth studio album, “The Pulse Of Annihilation,” for release on July 17th, 2026. The Tasmanian outfit will issue the record through Metal Blade Records, marking a new chapter for the band after their lengthy tenure with Prosthetic Records.

Leading the rollout is the new single “Gathering A Venomous Herd,” which arrives alongside a music video directed by Robert Brens.

Production on the album was handled by the band’s guitarist Joseph Haley at his own Crawlspace Productions studio. Speaking about the finished record, Haley stated:

“‘The Pulse Of Annihilation‘ is pretty much the culmination of everything that has come before. As with past releases, we never force anything stylistically and just let the songs manifest of their own accord – maintaining progression while remaining very much Psycroptic. Because of this, I feel this is our most epic, thrashing, technical while grooviest release yet.”
