Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alex Terrible stepped into both the cage and onto the stage for the inaugural “Blood4Blood” event. The show, presented in collaboration with Danny Wimmer Presents and Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, was held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida, and aimed to merge the worlds of metal and bare knuckle fighting.
Terrible had promised he would both compete in the ring and perform live with his band on the same day—and he delivered on both fronts. Alongside Slaughter To Prevail, the event also featured sets from Black Label Society, Crowbar, and Malevolence.
In his bout, Terrible came up short against Cameron “The Bull” Delano, who improved his record to 2–0. Following the fight, Terrible addressed the crowd in a post-fight interview, stating:
“Listen guys, a lot of people says I’m tough — I’m not tough. I’m scared literally of everything, but I try to fight my fears. This is why I do this sh*t, you know what I mean?”
In a video posted to his social media later on, Terrible went on to say:
“Yes I lost. It’s sad. I’m fucking sad, but at the same time I don’t feel shame, because I believe I did everything I could do. And Camreon, respect. You hit like a fucking bull, look at my face [laughs] you motherfucker [laughs.] And my plan was to perform before the fight and after the fight, but venue said no.
I could do that easily, even with this fucking face. So ‘Rockville‘ and ‘Sonic Temple‘, ‘Sonic Temple‘ don’t stress. I will be there. I will give you my energy 100% and I will see you there. Respect for all the fighters who fought yesterday. Respect for all the bands [that] played yesterday. I believe we made history guys. Thank you for your support. Haters: this is your best day in your fucking life [laughs.] My ass got whooped, again. 2-2 bare knuckles, fuck yeah.”
