Band Photo: Drowning Pool (?)
DROWNING POOL will be shipping off to the Persian Gulf at the end of October to rock for the troops. Immediately following their Persian Gulf excursion, they will be doing a couple of one-off shows. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:
Nov. 05 - National Orange Show - San Bernardino, CA (w/ NONPOINT, THE ACCIDENT EXPERIMENT, WU-TANG CLAN)
Nov. 09 - Sullivan Arena - Anchorage, AK (Alaska Fighting Championship)
DROWNING POOL recently recruited former SOIL frontman Ryan McCombs to replace their last vocalist, Jason "Gong" Jones (now in A.M. CONSPIRACY), who left the band in early June. The group are expected to enter the studio in early 2006 to begin recording their third album, tentatively due next spring/summer via Wind-Up Records.

i met cj at the house of blues when dry kill logic played with drowning pool. i am a frontman for a band called north19 out of los angeles. i have been compared to the likes of phil anselmo to sully erna. i am very critical on vocalist's even more when they are trying to fill gong's shoes, but ryan is bad a$$ he kills it in soil and i'm sure he will do dp justice and then some. step up ryan. your the man. cant wait to hear some new dp. j-
