Awakening Sun Premiere New Single & Music Video "Someone Else"

Awakening Sun are set to release a new EP titled "I Am More" on October 6th through Seek & Strike. The band collaborated with director Nobrake to create a video for their latest single, "Someone Else," both streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you now below.

The band shared their thoughts on the release:

“This new track, ‘Someone Else,’ is definitely one of the heaviest songs on the EP. Not only because of heavy riffs and blast beats, but also lyrically its message about self-underestimation, not feeling fulfilled. The character of the song is always questioning himself and is feeling depressed. We filmed the music video of us playing on a green screen and afterwards projected the footage on different buildings during the night to convey the dark and depressive message.

With this release, we wanted to take the band’s sound to a new level. We are always excited to work on our new material, because every band member has valuable creative input of the art that is being worked on at that moment. We are a mixture of heavy genres put into one cohesive set of music that punches through their listeners’ ear drums with huge melodies, epic sections with big breakdowns.
