It only took me into the first interlude of "music tune" to realize that Twisted Transistor sucks balls. I have been a Korn fan since the mid 90s but every album since Issues have been going downhill. Of course, I won't let this song dictate the rest of the album, but it's a bad indication to what it will sound like. But now, they've been sellouts for years and the deal with EMI for 25 mil is just bogus and whoever from EMI that signed that deal was high at the time. So that's my opinion, take it or leave it.

I can't say much for Korn, other than I've been disapointed since their 2nd album.....

As for their fans, at least their sincere.

Alot of people align themselves as fans of one band or another and bale out on that band at the first sign of the band losing popularity (OR GAINING POPULARITY!!!) because of the cool factor involved.....

If John-boys friends listen to 50 Cent John-boy buys the new 50 Cent album.

If John-boys friends quit listening to 50 Cent because the new cool rapper is Kanye West then 50 Cent loses out.

Or some people stop listening if a band builds too big of a fan base....Lots of people are probably going to stop listening to Arch Enemy and Opeth because those two bands have generated alot of fans over these last 4 years.

Fickle.....

And oddly, Korns fans are truely loyal, even though Korn hasn't put out anything thats sounds interesting since their (quite decent) debut.

It's a way to express yourself. Furthermore, Metal changes. It would kill the Metal genre itself if we refused to allow it to expand and change and make different sounds. Metal is a musical way of life. Just because it doesn't sound the same doesn't make it less metal; it only makes it unique. Korn doesn't sound like Slayer, and Slayer doesn't sound like Slipknot. Also, Korn now doesn't sound like Korn back then. Yes, I think their old stuff is better, but if they made the same sound over and over and over again, people would start to think they were like, oh I don't know, Slayer? The same drums and the same riffs over and over would get redundant. Metal can be about brutality and hatred, but that doesn't mean it has to be primitive screaming and mindless lyrics. I'm sorry, but just because you're angry and you have guitar riffs doesn't mean your music is great.
Perhaps there will be more to come. We will see.
