Finnish power metallers Sonata Arctica are another band in the long line of metal acts to get a Japanese live record released.

Titled, Live In Japan 2001, the album currently is Japan-only and features tracks from both full-lengths Ecliptica and Silence and possibly new bonus material if all goes well with their upcoming recording jaunt at Tico Tico Studios. The album just finished the mixing phase at Finnvox Studios with Mikko Karmila. Sonata Arctica's Live In Japan 2001 lands on March 20 in Japan on Marquee Records. No mention was provided for the rest of the world.
