Canadian metal band KITTIE have added a London, Ontario date to their schedule as a warm-up concert before their Windy City Invitational appearance.
The show will take place at Call the Office on September 29, and will mark KITTIE's first hometown appearance in three years. Also performing on the bill will be UNEVER and NOTHING LEFT FOR TOMORROW.
As previously reported, KITTIE, ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES, BURY YOUR DEAD and GOD DETHRONED have been confirmed for the Windy City Invitational festival, set to take place Saturday, October 1 at The Metro in Chicago, Illinois.
KITTIE frontwoman Morgan Lander recently shot down rumors that the group has broken following the departure of guitarist Lisa Marx and bassist Jennifer Arroyo and the band's split with longtime label Artemis Records.
KITTIE parted ways Artemis in March "due to a proposed amendment to the recording budget for the pending fourth KITTIE album," according to a post on the band's web site. The group have yet to announce replacemenets for Marx and Arroyo, who left the band earlier in the year. The band's most recent album, "Until the End", was released in July 2004.

ehh...not too keen on Kittie. Altho, I liked the song that they did with Korn, of course!
