The Music Company Gone?
Unconfirmed reports indicate that The Music Company, the record label imprint headed by Lars Ulrich that released Systematic's debut, Somewhere In Between, last year, has
ceased to exist. Systematic's next studio effort tentatively due to be issued through TMC's former parent company, Elektra Records. The Music Company was founded in 1998 and at one time boasted a roster that included DDT, Goudie and Brand New Immorals.
This probably means that Lars will concentrate more on Metallica and his family. Gene Simmons from Kiss also started his own record company some years ago, Simmons Records, but had to stop as well as it took too much time.
