Dark Tranquillity and Trivium have been confirmed as the support acts for Arch Enemy on the 1st leg of the European headlining tour for "Doomsday Machine." Tour dates are as follows:

I see time and time again on this board so-called "real" metal fans trashing any other person who listens to a band that sells over a hundred copies or, or anyone who doesn't love Maiden and Black Sabbath. If you really like metal then you're missing out by not giving Trivium's Ascendancy a good listen. If this show came anywhere near, I'd be there in a second, even though I just watched 2 of the 3 about 2 weeks ago.

Dark Tranquillity should be headlining, definitely, Character f***in rules....
But I also can't wait to see Arch Enemy classics like Burning Angel, Enemy Within, Ravenous, etc

And what f***ing great news, the UK part of the tour doesn't have to put up with Trivium!
OK, Trivium are quite good in parts, but DT beat them hands down ;) and I can do without the circle pitting....
