Swedish progressive metallers Wolverine have secured a North American licensing deal through California's The End Records. Described as a mix of Evergrey and Nevermore, Wolverine's newest album The Window Purpose will be the band's first stateside release. The record was first released on Holland's DVS Records.

In related news, Wolverine have welcomed bassist Thomas Jansson into the fold. The addition of Jansson will now allow vocalist Stefan Zell to concetrate solely on fronting the band.
