Blabbermouth.net Clarification

Borivoj Krgin, who runs Blabbermouth.net was kind enough to drop me a line and clarify the Blabbermouth situation, that Blabbermouth was not in fact bought by Roadrunner Records.

For the record, BLABBERMOUTH.NET was NOT bought by Roadrunner. At the moment, I and Roadrunner Records only have a verbal agreement right now to see this collaboration through for the foreseeable future and then regroup in a couple, or few months', time to see where we would both like this association to go. I think that I can speak for everyone involved when I say that we all hope that this will turn into a long-term working relationship, but seeing as this is all fairly new to me and to them, it's difficult to predict what may, or may not, happen.

One of my conditions for doing this RR thing was that I would retain 100% editorial control, even when it came to covering RR acts. I was adamant about that, and I wouldn't have done this otherwise. At the end of the day, I thought, being a one-man operation, the advantages of aligning myself with a site as visible as Roadrunner's is would outweight the disadvantages, including being possibly viewed as a "sellout" by some of the loyal BLABBERMOUTH.NET readers. The truth is that there is NO ONE else involved in making any editorial decisions at the site, and it will remain that way.
