Devin Townsend To Produce Next GWAR Cd

Band Photo: Gwar (?)
Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) is set to produce the next GWAR CD, the band's followup to their DRT Entertainment debut "WarParty", which hit stores earlier this year. Song titles, tracklisting, and a final release date, however, is still to be announced for the disc - but an early 2006 shelf debut seems likely. GWAR have been churning out albums since 1988, and recently ended a stint on the inaugral Summer tour, the SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND.

This just sounds TOO appropriate....
Metals reigning psycho, Strapping Young Lad frontman and top shelf producer with metals most deranged circus act (don't tell me they don't put on a better show than KISS, I happen to know better)
Gwar fans can expect sparks to fly on this album.

DEVIN TOWNSEND IS A GENIUS! No questions asked! This man has done nothing but strike awe into the Metal public with everything he does...going back to 1992 with Vancouver BC's CAUSTIC THOUGHT, and currently with such projects as STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND, TERRIA and PHYSICIST.
And let's not forget what he did to really turn the fans onto SOILWORK with 2002's "Natural Born Chaos" album, an influence that has since ridden the [sound]waves of their music.
DEVIN TOWNSEND is one of hardest working men in Metal (or any musical genre), and will turn GWAR into a [bigger] weapon of Heavy Metal mass destruction...LONG LIVE DEVIN TOWNSEND...All Hail the New Flesh!
btw...SYL love cake, too! :P
