Bruce Dickinson Smashed Up After Stage Fall

Band Photo: Iron Maiden (?)
Iron Maiden rocker Bruce Dickinson was so banged up when he recorded his last solo album, "Tyranny of Souls," he had to bring a bed into the studio so he could lie down every 10 minutes.
The "Run to the Hills" singer fell off a stage platform and into the band's drum kit during Iron Maiden's last US tour and shattered his chest.
Then, after taping himself up and continuing with tour dates in Japan, Dickinson injured his back while trying to overcompensate for his injuries.
He says, "When I recorded the vocals, I had to set up a bed by the microphone so I could lie down every 10 minutes."
