Counterparts Premiere New Music Video For “Selfishly I Sink”
Counterparts premiere a video for their song "Selfishly I Sink" from their latest EP “Private Room“. That release features some b-sides that didn’t make the cut during the recording sessions for the group's previous two outings. Pure Noise Records will have the EP out in stores on September 07th.
Comments the band’s vocalist Brendan Murphy of this latest track:
“‘Selfishly I Sink‘ is one of the few b-sides from ‘You’re Not You Anymore‘. Although it doesn’t really have a place on the record I’m still excited that the song finally gets to see the light of day. Lyrically, it’s a song about forcing yourself to find love where it doesn’t exist. It’s about trying to fill a void with things that are equally as empty.”
