Children of Bodom fansite, Scythes-of-Bodom.com, reveals that in a recent interview with Finnish music magazine Soundi, frontman, Alexi Laiho, revealed that some completely new influences can be heard on the band's upcoming album, "Are You Dead Yet?" He said that the album will be even more straight-forward than their last album, "Hate Crew Deathroll" and that it will have some industrial elements on it in addition to the trademark CoB sound.
In related news, further details regarding keyboardist, Janne Warmen's side project, have been revealed. The third full-length album by Warmen will be called "Accept the Fact" and will hit stores July 6th. On June 8th, a single called "Somebody's Watching Me" will provide us a little preview of the album. It comes with a bonus track called "Faithful Eyes," which can't be found on the album itself. The album will feature guest appearances by Alexi Laiho and Stratovarius' Timo Kotipelto, among others.
