Centuries Of Decay Posts New Song "Wings Of Death"

Toronto based quintet Centuries Of Decay will unleash a debut, self-titled concept album this coming August 4th, 2017. Drummer Derrick Doucette comments:

"We've often thought about the fragility of civilization throughout history and the idea of events repeating itself. With that in mind, our concept album tells the story of society being born, corrupt and destroyed in an endless cycle. It can be taken as a literal piece of fiction, or even a social commentary. It also comes from more personal issues such as depression, disillusionment and failure."

Today band reveals second single "Wings of Death," a song about religious and political propaganda and how its used to draw lines between people and nations. The lyrical content of this song draws from influences from George Orwell's 1984.

The track was written as two halves, a slower heavier groove, then kicking into fast paced death metal with some vocal harmonies by guitarists Rob McAllister and Devin Doucette.
