Not everyone is wired in a way to enjoy all the same things. What seems extreme to some is a daily enjoyment to others.... and quite frankly, that's how it should be. Everyone has their own taste and thus, their own opinion.
And my opinion? Yeah, unsurprising. But f#ck those guys. NAPSTER, BAD.

Congratulations Metallica!!!! This was honestly the first full album of theirs I really enjoyed and appreciated since the black album....my personal faves were the title track, atlas rise, murder one, and spit out the bone.....Everyone loves to anonymously sh**post metallica hate from behind the safety of their keyboards but there is a reason they still sell out arenas around the globe every night they tour some 30 years after Master of Puppets came out.....I really, really hope they come to florida or at least somewhere in the southeast on this tour...

I had high hopes when media was telling this is step back to their roots with heavy thrash like in the early days.
Very disappointed when I listened to the tracks to hear that it is just a heavier version of Load and Reload albums, just like in the line of the Death Magnetic album.
Hardwired and Spit Out The Bone are the only 2 songs which can be called thrash metal. The other 10 songs are ballads. An album filled with ballads cannot be called a thrash metal album. In my opinion it is a waste of money purchasing this album, not even worth to download it illegally.

Well that's embarrassing...though certainly not surprising
People's total abandon infatuation with the mediocre is something I've never understood, and hopefully never will
