Details Of New Album "Troi" Released By Delirium X Tremens
Italian death metal act Delirium X Tremens announced that the recently completed new album will be entitled "Troi." The album is will be issued soon via Punishment 18 Records and the release date will be announced soon.
The title of the new album means “path” in the dialect of Belluno. The release will be a concept (album) dedicated to the legends and real stories of the Dolomiti mountains: stories of men, enchanted and at the same time dark landscapes, an absorbing story which can transport the listener in another epoch, that age in which everything had its own real color. The frantic tale continues from the death of an Alpine soldier on the cold mountains: his spirit will reincarnate in an owl who will guide a young boy through the woods and paths up to his old house, where an old picture album is preserved. The concept will move between past and present, in a solemn, gloomy and melancholy atmosphere.
The cover and artwork (shown below) has been created by graphic artist Cristina Reolon, who perfectly captured the spirit of the album with her work.
The recording sessions took place at The Crowns Studios in Voltago Agordino under the guide of Fabio Perucchini. The mixing and mastering phase was a collaboration with Larsen Premoli at RecLab Studios in Milan.
The new release includes 8 tracks, as follows:
1. Ancient Wings
2. Col di Lana, Mount of Blood
3. The Dead of Stone
4. The Voice of the Holy River
5. Owl
6. Spettri Nella Steppa
7. When the Mountains Call the Storm
8. The Picture
