Fifth Album Recordings Completed As Thormesis Eyes Early 2017 Release
German pagan black metal act Thormesis has completed the work on the fifth longplayer, which will be released in early 2017 via MDD Records. All album details are still under wraps, so expect more news shortly.
The band self-recorded and produced the the successor of "Freier Wille - Freier Geist." The album's artwork will be created by Bloodboy and Hubert Dürr (Internus).
Vocalist and guitarist Travos commented on what fans can expect: "I think that the new album is a logical development of 'Freier Wille - Freier Geist,' it just feels new and fresh and can not yet be judged objectively by ourselves. But we are extremely proud of how the album has developed slowly and what it has become. It will be our first album with O.D. At the drums. As a sound, I wanted the whole thing to sound like a big hit with pressure - and it does!“
The band has planned some special album release shows as follows:
10. Februar - 10. Februar - Frostfeuernächte 2017, Gräbendorf (near Berlin)
11. Februar - Adelsheim (w/SuidAkra, Imperium Dekadenz, Vargsheim, Delirium, Internus)
