Argonauta Records Signs Italy's Mars Era For Debut
Italian desert rock act Mars Era signed on with Argonauta Records for a debut release targeted to drop in early 2017.
Mars Era was born in Florence in 2014 from an idea of Michelangelo Verdelli, Tommaso Tassi, Davide Ferrara and Leonardo Storai. The band sound started with a classic “stoner” set up, and now the four piece combine psychedelic parts with heavy and stoner influences.
Inspired both by American progressive and alternative metal scene and the so called “desert” stoner rock, the music involves themes and landscapes typical of the 70’s space rock music.
The debut album will be a concept based on the dialogues of two main characters, symbolizing the Ying and the Yang. Chapter after chapter, song after song, the story develops like a cinematographic experience made of metaphysical and transcendental atmospheres.
The band commented: "We are very excited to join Argonauta Records, we are very impressed of their professionalism and how the label is evolving, we hope this experience will bring us new possibilities and inspirations for the future works."
More information on the album is expected shortly.
