New Album Artwork Unveiled By Famishgod

Spanish funerotting doom/death act Famishgod, lead by Dave Rotten (Avulsed) and Funedeim (Bizarre), has just revealed the title and cover art for the second studio release to be entitled "Roots of Darkness." The album will be issued on December 1st from Xtreem Music. A new song and track list for the album will be revealed soon.

The artwork for "Roots of Darkness" was painted by artist Abigor Artaburu, who already worked for bands like Aposento and Ouija, among many others. The new band logo was been designed by Phlegeton (Wormed). Check them out below.

The album is currently being mixed by Dave Rotten at his own Sanctuary Studios and will release just before Famishgod's live appearance at the 4th edition of the Madrid is the Dark Festival together with bands like Samael, Tiamat, In The Woods, Ahab, Draconian and many more.

"Roots of Darkness" will feature 7 conceptual chapters that continue the story from the debut album "Devourers of Light." The album musically deepens the dense, profound and dismal sounds of its predecessor, although this time with a human drummer and a better and heavier production, but always keeping true to the rotting, majestic and enigmatic essence that characterizes Famishgod.
