Alestorm Cancels Canadian Shows Due To Visa Issues

Alestorm is now officially a sad pirate metal band as upcoming Canadian dates are canceled due to the bane of all metal bands: the dreaded visa issues.

If only it had been a killer kraken instead! Alestorm comments:

"Due to unforeseen visa processing delays for multiple entries between the U.S. and Canada, we're very sad to announce that we have been forced to postpone the Canadian shows on our upcoming headlining tour.

"We're currently discussing a suitable time frame to reschedule the Canadian dates as soon as possible, which we will announce shortly.

"All U.S. dates remain as they were and all Canadian dates will be replaced by more US shows. The new tour dates will be posted here on Friday.

"We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and we look forward to making it up to everyone in Canada as soon as possible. We wanted to play for you as much as you wanted to see us, and we promise we’ll be back. Cheers, and we'll be seeing you soon!"
