Anthrax Confirm Reunion Of 'Among The Living' Lineup

MTV.com is reporting that they have received confirmation that ANTHRAX's classic "Among the Living" lineup — guitarists Scott Ian and Dan Spitz, vocalist Joey Belladonna, bassist Frank Bello, and drummer Charlie Benante — has reunited. However, despite persistent reports that the band would be taking part in this year's Ozzfest, no plans for a North American tour were announced at press time.

ANTHRAX's "Among the Living" lineup has scheduled the following dates:

Apr. 30 – Chicago, IL @ House of Blues
May 01 – Chicago, IL @ House of Blues
May 07 – Hellendoorn, NETH @ Dynamo Open Air
Jun. 09-11 – Sölvesborg, SWE @ Sweden Rock
Jun. 11-12 – Bologna, ITA @ Gods of Metal
Jun. 11 - Donington Park, UK @ Download
Jun. 24-26 – Le Mans, FRA @ Fury Fest
Jun. 24-16 – Tolmin, SLO @ Metal Camp
Jul. 1-3 - Löbnitz (near Leipzig), GER @ With Full Force

Good to see Joey back to play Download festival at Donnington but hope Bush hasn't left the band for good. He's by far the better vocalist and thats comin from and old bugger who loved the old Anthrax

I just went to look at the download festival line up in the UK and an absolute shocker!!! Watched and lived Anthrax for years and John Bush has got some big balls which spat some great new energy and made Anthrax the Band they wanted to be. I hope he hasn't gone either cause they were going from
strength to stength!!!! Joey just wails and sends the band back to the spandex era. I hope they don't look like a tribute band and bring back the burning Bush!!!!!!!

Personally I love all anthrax but I like John Bush a little better. It will be cool to see the old line up play at least once but I hope John stays in the band.

I hope this aint for good because A] Bush kicks MAXIMUM ass, and B] Can you imagine 'only' or 'fueled' with no-balls singing?
And to me the big question is: WHAT ABOUT ROB CAGGIANO?
I love that guys solos live, he twists em just enough to make them his own and i like it!

Personally, I'm f***ing done w/ this new Anthrax stuff before it even begins. Belladonna sings like a 5 year old w/ his nuts chopped off and they're just gonna keep rehashing a bunch of old sh**....makes me think of metallica trying to hang on to their first few albums to retain any credibility. John Bush was THE MAN and was the reason why I started listening to Anthrax in the first place, IMHO that band is now done.
