Xalpen Releasing New Album "Black Rites"

Xalpen's "Black Rites" is coming via Morbid Skull Records on September 6th, 2016. The band takes its name from the goddess of the primordial waters of the underworld: bringer of the infernal hosts from the depths of the abyss and opener of the gateways to the spiritual chaos.

Xalpen is a raw black metal manifestation that emerges with complete devotion by channeling ritualistic vibrations within the black arts of spirituality, guided by ancient traditions of dark knowledge. Euphoria, ecstasy, trance and satanic commitment have taken form between two different hemispheres of the planet, Chile and Germany.

Recorded in Santiago, Chile at Necrotic Studio by Benjamin Berrantes and additionally recorded, mixed and mastered in Hamburg, Germany by Pedro Aravena, “Black Rites” offers six tracks of pure, fierce and demoniacal black metal that will surely impress fans of Inquisition, Bölzer and Horna.
