Rob Zombie Working On New Album

Band Photo: Rob Zombie (?)
Rob Zombie is still working on his latest, as yet untitled album. And he's got a number of guests helping him out, including Tommy Lee, Josh Freese (both on drums) and Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland. Now that he's finished with his latest movie, it seems he'll turn back to music, lending some credit to the rumor Zombie may be planning an Ozzfest appearance this year.

Rob Zombie is not all the great. I mean kudos to those who enjoy him. But with all the different metal acts out there now...RZ just doesn't compare musically. If he did join Ozzfest that wouldn't impress me, because Ozzfest is a joke. It is a corporate money-making machine. I've been to Ozzfest the last two years. They charge ridiculous prices on everything. Bottom line is Ozzfest is everything that metal stands against. Metal concerts are better in a small venue with true metal fans. Most of the people that go to Ozzfest have never heard of the bands and do not even listen to metal. Need to keep metal where it belongs and that is far away from the mainstream.

Its you new metallers that annoy me so much. And i don't mean nu metallers. All you band wagon jumpers who see metals cool now-a-days and jump on the band wagon of alternativness. Rob Zombie has been leading metal for the past 20 years and to say Tool are better is criminal in its own right. Tool are a perfect example of angst metal crap, bring down the system and all that trippy rubbish. Rob Zombie is a legend and frankly with that attitude you wouldn't deserve to see him.

It's about time Rob came out with some new s**t!! He is a very creative man and although his movie wasn't the least bit scary. It was down right comical and twisted in Zombie kind of way. I like that he hasn't really changed his style so much as not to keep up with whats "popular".
As for Tool, I'm not a huge fan as it's not the type of metal I perscribe to, I must admit that the extremly difficult time signature and the complexity of everything is worth giving acknowlegement to.

Its not that Tool is difficult to play, but then again maybe your a no talent a$$ clown that has no musical ability and had the pleasure of seeing Tool live as I did and watched the bass player mess up numerous times infront of a semi full arena. Thank god the tickets were free. I want a tour with Ozzy, Rob Zombie, and Alice Cooper, bring the heads of metal together for one great tour. And the nu metal crap makes me sick, and the fact that bands like Anthrax are selling out to it is unspeakable. Also those that say Rob sucks are probably the same kind of people that though Pantera sucked and SlipKnot is the best. Like they said above your trendy little pricks.

dont talk about talent if you are against tool, wether or not you are a fan you can not deny the fact that tool is a million time more talented that rob will ever be, maynerd is a musical genious and i am on the metal man on this one, if you are going to just be a part of the scene, stay home, but if you watn the music, more power to you. music is the biggest part of my life and its easy to tell what will be around for ever, and trust me, in the future people will be more likely to be listening to toll than, SORRY

How the HELL are you gonna be on a Rob Zombie feed arguing about the relevence of TOOL ? I'm not really a fan of TOOL but I do respect them as one of the best as far as what's going on today. The point is this is a ROB ZOMBIE feed if your gonna get into an arguement that has very little to do with him at all ,do it somwheir else. The least you could do is stick to the subject at hand.

So from the sound of what they are saying do you think the album is going to be more like Astro Creep 2000 but heavier or HellBilly Deluxe. This is just me but I thought the music took a weird turn when white zombie was ended. I mean its still good but it just seems different more, I can't even think of how to describe it, but its not Feed the Gods or Electric Head
