how the hell can anyone like that sh*t? How the hell can anyone call that crap metal? the drummer sucks. the guitarist is no better than the fukkin retard from the white stripes. the singer has an okay voice but it still sucks. that band is abominable. RIP Dimebag

Chris Cornell (im para-phrasing Henry Rollins) "has a voice that can peel the paint off of walls" the man can sing/scream.....True the bands music is very "verse, chorus, verse, chorus, weird solo, chorus" but to deny their talents, mainly the singer and bassist...(sigh)....guitarist is ORIGINAL but there are many who are much better........drummer does suck though....

If you are a fan of Chris...you can see that Audioslave is working for him...just try to get to know him with these other guys...they admire and respect his abilities...this is good for him right now. They are all great individual talents that have come together to express...open your mind, Sara666 and listen better.

Marielle, believe me I have quite an open mind. I do like some Audioslave songs, I just prefer Chris's vocals in the older style like Temple and Soundgarden. In Soundgarden he had a different energy than now. Now he seems relaxed and comfortable........good for him.

What are you doing on a metal site if you don't even know who "the singer" is, chris cornell-a god of Metal. That said, this song isn't metal by any means. Its not like anything Chris or RATM has done. Sounds great though and should appeal to more than the regular Audioslave/RATM/SG fanbase

I'm sorry for being a little silly but is it just me or was Tom Morello not the greatest guitartist in the world for 3 years running (FACT)? And didnt 3 of the members of audioslave win a grammy wen in rage? Also Chris's vocals are superb. so for that dude who said : -

p.s. the decision to bring soul, funk, anger and heart into his music rather than shredding throughout an entire album and plucking random notes at retrded speeds makes Tom no less of a god. He brings ten times more to the scene than many of the artists featured in this site, including your beloved Metallica. So never question the validity of Tom Morello as an incredible guitarist. And we must pay our respects to Cornell as being the kind of metal and grunge artist our mothers can rock out to as well.

yeah so i saw that big perm or whatever the F ur name is wrote that tom morello has as much talent as the retard from white stripes .... dude morello has more talent and creativity in the form of music in one finger than ur little dime bag darrel has in his entire body pantera f***ing sucked audioslave is a reall band man with reall music who cares if its considered metal is that how u base ur shopping for music what r u 12? rip dimebag? im geussing u like dumbass soloist who can shred .... anyone can f***ing do that u idiot ....shredding is for lame @$$ untalented nonsense producing noise that u and ur freinds beat off too .... dont ever diss audioslave again or call it crap they are one of the best around lil f***ing dorks

the comment about cornells voice changing due to smoking? smoking will only make ur voice SLIGHTLY raspy, but if you know anything about being a singer your voice never stops maturing and he is at the age where its finally settling in and being at its best , not because he smokes its because he practices and pushes himself that was an incredibly dumb remark kid... soundgarden days were just his voice when he was younger .... and by the way besides maynard james keenan i've never heard lyrics as incredible as audioslave's chris cornell will definatly be a legend to remember...and why is everyone saying "the drummer" sucks... hes not bad at ALL when flowing with the music and his name is brad wilk ... and timmy c is a great bassist

All I know is I saw them here in Denver when they kicked off their first tour and it was INCREDIBLE! I'm pretty picky about shows and this one had to be in my top two or three. The energy they put out on stage was nothing short of amazing!...Oh yeah, I know I saw paint peel off the walls that night with Cornell's vocals and Morello was on fire as well.

Nice to know that amongst all the scum and degenerative retardedness in this day and age, theres still some level headed people out that know a thing or two about being a decent human being! If youre going to say Mr.Morello sucks, be a bit more creative.. .. [Youve gotta be creative to lie like a b**** anyway =P] Audioslave, Lursh stuff. New Album? Cant wait! Chris Cornell- Set this f***er off mate, Hes a badass invincible off the wall mofo and I love him.. Timmy C and Bradddd? Oh yes.. Cheer up guys and girls! Lifes for Living, not being a whiney little pratt sitting infront of the computer posting comments that are going to make you seem like a cackhanded spaz when you could have just gone outside and sniffed those daaamn bushes. - My 15 seconds of Fame. Yeah jonny you peice of sh** - I didn't say he was sh** so what the hell are you dissing me about? And why does it matter if its metal?? Hmmn I don't know, maybe cuz this is a f***ing metal site you jackass.
And as for that stupid a$$ comment about Morello being a better guitarist than Dime? I'll take it you've never heard "Cowboys"

OK let's not fight KIDDIES !!!.As far as who's better Dime or Morello.Awesome question with an amazingly difficult answer. each seem's to excell beyond the other for different reason's.Tom's playing is so sound on a technical level you gotta admire it while Dime equally as technical any day ,but he seemed to play more from his heart & gut which gives him an edge, you follow me ? All I can say about Chris is this. The first SG album I got was BAD MOTORFINGER.That may or may not have been the name of it that was years ago and an ex-girlfriend stole my copy, but it was their breakthrew album before SUPERUNKOWN and I've been an almost rabid fan ever since.Truly one of the great voices in ROCK or METAL bar none. However I do miss SOUNDGARDEN. AUDIO SLAVE is a great band though even if I find them sometimes difficult to swallow at times but I had the same problem with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and I loved them too.Let's see if the new disc stand's up to their previous work.In closing as much as I love VR.Whoever saide they were the first supergroup of the new Millenium spoke too soon. AUDIOSLAVE IS LEGITIMATE COMPETITION FOR THE TITLE !!!

whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! what the f*** did johnboy walton (post 25) say? morello is better than dime? what?
i, personally like music that isn't boring and that morello guy is just well, boring. the drummer does suck. i can't stand cornell's voice. it ain't my cup of tea. but, everyone is entitled to there own opinion-whether it's right or wrong

I would say the best supergroup in metal was Death on Individual Thought Patterns.
Really BLACKDOG? I would say its the other way round, being Morello being the from the heart player because of his technique and inventiveness while Dime was the straight out, balls to the floor shredder. But I mean look at it from a guitarist point of view - If you had to spend your time learning Dimes most technical song and Tom's I think Dimes would be a damn site harder.
