The overall lyrical theme of reclaiming control of your own life couldn't be more apparent than on the final four songs of Hatebreed's "The Concrete Confessional."

Each in its own way, across "The Apex Within," "Walking The Knife," "Dissonance," and the album's real-rocker-of-a-tune closer "Serve Your Masters," cuts through the noise right to the heart of what is real.

As Hatebreed's Jamey Jasta put it, "There is so much that is happening in the world today that is fucked up, and people are putting blinders on to it. I just want to spark some new thoughts."
