Static-X Parts Ways With Tripp Eisen

STATIC-X have split with guitarist Tripp Eisen following reports that Eisen was arrested by authorities in two states on charges that include kidnapping, sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges stem from two separate incidents involving sexual relations with minors. The group's official statement reads, in part, "STATIC-X has parted ways with guitarist Tripp Eisen, effective immediately. Tripp is currently dealing with personal issues that prohibit him from being able to fulfill his commitment to the band. No replacement has yet been chosen. STATIC-X is in the studio putting the finishing touches on its fourth Warner Bros. album, scheduled to be released in May. The band will tour this summer in support of the record."

Eisen has been in police custody since his February 24 arrest, but was scheduled to appear in Central Justice Center Court in Santa Ana, California, on Monday afternoon (February 28), according to MTV.com. It's expected the guitarist will remain in police custody in California until he's cleared for extradition to New Jersey.

I feel sad for him he literally had a life that most people would call perfect and he could have rode this Dragon that was STATIC X anywheir . He could have literally had the cake and ate it.Unfortunatly he chose poorly and is gonna pay for it.Groupies everywhier an apparently Bi-Sexual girlfriend who did'nt mind having lunch at the "Y" for his entertainment and did'nt mind letting him join in either.Why would a child have any appeal to him at all.I hope he get's help whether that be in prison or wherever he goes from here.

whether u think anything of his band or not (im not big fan myself) it is kinda sad to think someone who had so much (money, a dream job, moderate amount of fame, "some" respectable playing talent and an opportunity to travel for as long as Static X remained together)....would go out like this...sad.......and kinda funny.......very jackson-esque really...if he dodges jail time hopefully this scares him into not messing with kids...if he gets the slammer he pretty much earned it....

I used to be a huge fan of Tripp. I mean hell, he was one of my influences for playing the guitar. Now I guess I'm glad I followed people like Jeordie White and Acey Slade into the bass, because this f***ing disgusts me. Everyone needs helkp with things and can change... hopefully he does cause I wanbt to see him back out and working his guitar skills in another band.
