Green Death Embarking On U.S. Tour Dates
With the core of the band playing together for well over a decade, Iowa’s Green Death has become a staple in the Midwest Metal scene.
The group's “big break” came in 2015 when Slipknot/Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor offered the band a slot on Knotfest in San Bernardino, CA and introduced Green Death to EMP label group A&R Thom Hazaert, who immediately sent the band’s material to David Ellefson.
On 4/1, (5/20 in Europe via SPV) EMP re-released sophomore LP "Manufacturing Evil," which the band celebrated this weekend at Wooly’s in Des Moines, with Ellefson even joining the band on stage in front of a packed house.
The remastered / remixed version of "Manufacturing Evil" also features a new version of “Gates of Hell” with guest vocals by legendary former Death Angel vocalist David Vincent. You can stream that new version below (David Vincent's PR agent Suzanne Penley, coincidentally, is quite unhappy with us at Metalunderground.com and on the war path over one of our April Fools jokes this year).
