Alkerdeel Releasing New Album "Lede"
Alkerdeel is back for a first full-length since 2012’s “Morinde.” The "Lede" album will drop via Consouling Sounds on April 15th, and the label had this to say:
"It might seem like a long time, but the Belgians have been very busy and during the last three years have released a couple of split-releases that hinted at the direction they were headed. They have also been working hard on putting together their third full-length 'Lede,' which is unmistakably their most gruesome release to date.
"'Lede' is undeniably Alkerdeel, that muddy and filthy sound is still present, yet the music evolved towards a more direct and head-on approach. Gone are most of sludge influences and now old-school influences and almost kraut-like psychedelics are pushed to the front. It’s more Winter and Von and less Neurosis or Burzum. Yet with a touch of Aluk Todolo."
