Victorian Whore Dogs Announces New Album "Afternoonified"
U.K. sludge metal band Victorian Whore Dogs just finished work on a debut full-length titled "Afternoonified." Following two EP releases, this new album is set drop on April 1st, 2016 and will coincide with a U.K. tour the same week. Frontman Danny Page commented:
"'Afternoonified; is a sludge-doom cacophony of debauched madness and sexual expression. It is not so much art, but a rejection of self, a journey into the confines of our own repressive nature to come full circle and truly understand that life itself is a rose-tinted cumstain left on the sidewalk. We are exploring ourselves, within ourselves, outside ourselves, on our shelves. It's fuzzy, doomy, riffy, and angry."
He further stated about the upcoming tour: "To coincide with this musical expression, we shall be embarking on several long weekend tours throughout the United Kingdom over April, three with Morass Of Molasses, and one with our friends Greenhorn and Tides Of Sulfur. It will be a circus without the tent, a gynecological examination with no glove. This is real, heavy, filthy, sludgy, real.
