Tengger Cavalry Announces More NY/NJ Shows
Following a sold out, two hour unplugged Christmas Eve performance at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, the Mongolian folk metal group Tengger Cavalry is pleased to announce three new headlining performances coming soon to the New York tri-state area.
For these shows, the golden horde is joined by a new member, Mongolian fiddle player Uljmuren. In addition, the Mongolian dancing group featured at the band's last Saint Vitus performance, Altan Seseg, will dance at all of the upcoming shows.
1/27 - Brooklyn, NY @ Saint Vitus Bar
2/06 - Clifton, NJ @ Clash Bar
3/09 - New York, NY @ Joe's Pub
This winter marks another celebration for Tengger Cavalary. As our country battles the topic of immigration, frontman Nature Ganganbaigal has been officially approved for his green card, allowing the group to continue performing in the United States.
"I am excited to announce that my green card application for Extraordinary Ability just got approved by USCIS. This is amazing, because my application title is literally 'Mongolian Folk Heavy Metal Musician.' This will be very beneficial to the band, and perhaps the genre, as I could continue developing our career stateside and do more US and EU tours in the future," states Ganganbaigal.
