GOD FORBID have checked in with the following update:

"We are about halfway through composing our next metal masterpiece, IV: Constitution of Treason, and I have to say that the writing is going amazing. It's shaping up to be some of the best material we've ever written. Something feels really special about this entire process. It's hard to say what it sounds like so far because I don't think you really know what your record is going to be until it's completely done, and we're far from that. It's definitely a bit more rockin’ and even more epic- sounding than anything we've done. All the dual leads and heavy grooves are intact, but it's got a new feel to it, and I'm sure we will surprise people again. We refuse to repeat ourselves and become a formulaic band."
