noone and i mean NOONE knew who a dozen furies were before that MTV show...its like the american idol for metal...
which is in all seriousness a decent idea, but whats the funniest thing is how people get mad if a certain band doesnt sound a certain way if your from a certain area...
do you think texas was a mecca for metal when metal started out?!?!
FUCCKK NO!!!
it was a mecca for uncle-f***in-kodiak-chewing-wife-punching-church-going-hypocrites....who liked that crazy kid elvis...and dolly parton...if you liked metal or worse played metal in texas you pretty much were a community FREAK
If i'm from Sweden do i HAVE to sound like ArchEnemy??? If I'm from florida must i sound like a boyband or be Limpbizkit???if i'm from New York must I sound like the Cro-mags??? does one have to sound a certain way to "REPRESENT" a cerain place?...seems all the bands that ever made a difference, underground or popularly, sounded pretty fuccking differnt to someone....or everything would still sound BLOODY ELVIS AND GOD FORSAKEN DOLLY sh**TTING PARTON...what kills me is this is the same person(big will) who is defending the deftones on another page..while the deftones are great in their own right the deftones became famous for not sounding like punk OR metal at a time and in a place where it was most important to be one or the other or not be embraced...IDIOT....never mind, im gonna get sh**faced now cus half the people on this forum scream "himmm!!!" after every dumb f***ing thing they say or ......even more sad...TRY TO SWAY EACHOTHERS POLITICAL VIEWS ON A METAL SIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ISNT THAT KINDA NOT THE SUBJECT...further more why are so many bible beater fans of a decidedly secular or even satanic genre...more power to open mindedness i guess.....
so when i was 5 years old i chased down a wounded bird....this took hours cus it could sort of fly...i dont know how it got injured but i was determined to kill it for being wounded....i ran around my neighborhood with my friend jimmy and ran after this scared animal for from noonish to 5ish...and we got it gave it a heart attack from fright, decided we were the good/bad men because..
A.) we killed the bird..............BAD.
B.) we politely buried it and held a funeral for it, even marking its grave with a cross of stickes held together with gum and rubberband........okay maybe not so GOOD..but in a disfigured way...sort of thoughtful....
im gonna have that drink i said i was goig to have now...byebye
