Circles Parts Ways With Guitar Player
Australian outfit Circles just issued this announcement online about parting ways with the band's guitarist:
"It’s with heavy hearts that we share some sad news with you all. After several discussions it has come to light that Matty will no longer continue playing guitar in Circles. Ultimately, Matty would like to explore some other musical directions and we would never want to hold him back from pursuing what makes him happy creatively.
"We’ve shared some crazy times together that we’ll never forget and wish him all the best in this next chapter. A great musician, a brother and a best mate. We love ya dude! As for Circles, this is definitely not the end. We are working around the clock to get album number 2 out to your ear holes and can’t wait for you to hear this thing!"
Matty also issued this statement via Facebook: “Hey all, I am writing this to announce that sadly, I'll be stepping down from guitar duties in Circles. It hasn't been an easy decision but after a big chat with the guys, I have decided it was time for myself to move on to the next chapter, continuing to work on some of my own music as well as some other projects.
"I have to say that the experiences I've had over the past 5 years with these guys have been some of the best of my life and will cherish forever. Thanks Ted, Dave, Drew and Perry for being awesome brothers/bandmates/musicians and wish you the best of luck with everything. Love you guys! And last but not least, to all the fans and awesome friends/musos I've met over the last few years. Thanks for your support!”
