Nunslaughter's Jim "Sadist" Konya Passes Away

U.S. outfit Nunslaughter has issued the following brief statement about drummer Jim "Sadist" Konya passing away:

"Jim Sadist has passed. It is difficult to express the overwhelming sense of loss of Jim. Perhaps in time I will be able to tell everyone more about him but for now I only want to say 'Goodbye Jim, I love you.'"

Jim had been hospitalized for several weeks after suffering a stroke. Eric Greif from Death DTA also posted this message online about Jim's passing: "RIP Jim from Nunslaughter, who died yesterday as the result of two strokes. Our best wishes to bandmate Don and to Jim's family - have strength at this shitty time. Nunslaughter have always been big Death fans, and I've been lucky to meet them and see them play."
